Raul Crimson’s experiences in Second Life®
Spelling
I’d like to share with you all this. Is a video i made of one of my latest works.
Is a 3D object i made for Vain Inc Gallery (SLurl), you can find more info about the gallery in some older posts. The theme this month was Muse.
I really love SLphotography, but at the same time i feel a bit limited in it. This time wanted to explore more techniques. We live in a 3D world (well actually in two 3D worlds) so… why not to make something animated?
Also words are important for me, in SL we communicate by words mainly, because the physical language is limited to gestures. Words are important also in this work, how they appear, how they transform in other words… The Muse is expressed by words, by whispers, by spellings…

Hey Raul,
I saw this when I was with Kham at the gallery last week. I think it’s great you’re trying to push SL photography forward in interesting directions. There were a couple of things about this I wasn’t sure about, for example the font I didn’t like much, a bit Christmasy? Also, the scripted movement could do with being smoother perhaps. But overall, I applaud the concept and hope you keep experimenting with this as there is a lot of potential.

Thanks, Arahan. Is always good to see some points sometimes one can’t see. Yes, you are right about the font, about the movement, well, i presume it can be a bit smoother adding more “snapshots” to the animation. The more exciting thing about that was to experiment, this experimentation and this comments are the ways to learn more and try to go further.
